City Police hearing from a mother who reported her 19 year old daughter had been seriously assaulted by her boyfriend on Queen Street West.
Surpisingly, the young woman turned out to be less than cooperative with investigators. She was taken to hospital to be treated for facial fractures.
A 34 year old man was arrested for assault causing bodily harm after barricading himself inside the residence. Police also discovering there was an outstanding warrant issued for his arrest.
Another man was arrested after a woman on Orange Street reported over 5 thousand dollars worth of damage was caused to her apartment. Police say they had dealt with the same man for damage earlier at a Carmarthen Street residence.
