Poley Mountain has come a long way since disaster struck one year ago today.
Their lodge was reduced to a pile of rubble, after a major fire at the ski hill.
But they didn’t let that stop the season from going ahead.
They created a temporary trailer city, in place of the lodge.
General Manager Bill Anderson says the trailers are now gone replaced with a lodge that has a lot more space.
The old lodge was 17, 000 square feet, but the new one is 29, 000 square feet.
He says they’ve already started making snow, and selling season passes, and he’s looking forward to a great season.
