City Police releasing more details about a serious assault that happened at an apartment building on Crown Street near Union. The building has been taped off by police as Major Crime carries out its investigation.
A 49 year old man telling police he was sleeping when a man whom he knows began to beat him with a blunt object thought to be a baseball bat. The victim was taken to the Regional Hospital with significant head and facial injuries.
A 48 year old man has been arrested for aggravated assault, threats and probation violation.
