Registration for the 50th Annual Christmas Bird Count is open until tomorrow.
Birding enthusiasts of all ages will flock to Fundy National Park on the 18th to celebrate the anniversary as well as count birds.
The Annual Christmas Bird Count is one of the longest running wildlife census in the world with more than 400 sites surveyed country wide.
20 of those sites are in New Brunswick, including Fundy National Park.
It’s coordinated by Bird Studies Canada in partnership with Parks Canada.
Data from the event is used to document bird species diversity and numbers.
