A 50-year-old Fredericton woman seriously hurt in a crash last night in Douglas has died.
The four vehicle crash took place around 10pm last night.
The woman was heading eastbound towards Fredericton when she lost control of her vehicle veering into oncoming traffic.
Three other vehicles heading west toward Keswick Ridge were also involved in the crash.
A truck, hit the woman’s vehicle on the passenger side while the second vehicle slowed and was hit from behind by a third vehicle.
None of the westbound drivers were hurt but the woman was taken to the Saint John Regional Hospital and later died from her injuries.
Police believe extreme weather conditions are a factor in this crash.
