Charges of first-degree murder and arson have been laid against 20-year-old Marissa Shephard and 18-year-old Tyler Noel in the death of 18-year-old Baylee Wylie of Moncton.
A warrant has also been issued for their arrests.
Firefighters found Wylie’s body after putting out a fire at 96 Sumac Street in Lewisville last Thursday morning.
Police determined the death was a homicide.
Marissa Shephard is described as Caucasian, 167cm (5’5″) tall and weighs approximately 45kg (100lbs). She has brown eyes and brown hair. She has a tattoo with the name Stephen on her neck and a tattoo of a heart on her chest.
Tyler Noel is described as Caucasian with a medium complexion. He is 173cm (5’8″) tall with a medium build and weighs approximately 64kg (140lbs). He has brown eyes and black hair, including facial hair and sideburns. He has tattoos on his right arm with the words mom, dad and Mary as well as a skull.
Earlier this week, 18-year-old Devin Morningstar of Moncton was charged with one count of first degree murder and one count of arson.
He is being held in custody until his next court appearance on January 8.
