Irving Oil unveiling plans for their new 11-storey home office building that will be built in uptown Saint John.
Chairman of Irving Oil Arthur Irving says the new head office represents a longstanding commitment to Saint John and New Brunswick as a whole.
He says New Brunswick deserves it and Saint John deserves it.
The new building will be located next to the Imperial Theatre and will bring roughly 1,000 Irving Oil employees under the same roof.
Irving Oil President Ian Whitcomb says the new head office building is a true testament to the commitment between Irving Oil and Saint John, and the province of New Brunswick.
Whitcomb attributes the success of Irving Oil to the hard working people of Saint John and the support from the community.
Mayor Mel Norton calls the new Irving Oil head office a commitment to the heart of Saint John, and a signal of confidence in our collective future and opportunities.
