Small towns are ususally left out when it comes to big music stars.
Coors Banquet is looking to change that.
Coors Banquet Marketing Manager Nicole Wolff tells us they are looking for the next “One Horse Town”. She says the contest is their way of sharing their small town pride with the rest of Canada. “Banquet comes from Golden, Colorado, which has a population of about 20,000. And because of this, we really are proud of our small town, and we want to hear more about people across Canada and how proud they are about their small town.”
There are several ways to enter the contest, including sending a picture of your small town with your name to their website. You can also enter the contest through Twitter or Instagram by tagging your photo with the name of your town and #OneHorseTown.
After all the submissions have been sent, 6 finalists will be chosen, are then voted upon, and the winning “One Horse Town” will receive a free concert with Dean Brody, Chad Brownlee, and the River Town Saints.
The contest opens Monday, April 11th, you can find all the details about the contest HERE .
