Saint Johnners will have no shortage of candidates to choose from in next months municipal election.
A total of five candidates are hoping to become the next Mayor of Saint John.
The mayoral candidates are Don Darling, current councillor in ward 4 Bill Farren, Patty Higgins, Howard A. Yeomans and currently Deputy Mayor Shelley Rinehart.
Former Mayor and councillor Ivan Court has put his name forward in ward 1.
His brother and former councillor, Bruce Court is also running in ward 4.
Former Councillor Gary Sullivan is one of the candidates running for Councillor at Large.
A total of 17 candidates have thrown their names in the ring for a chance at being part of a new Common Council on May 9th.
