One more storm before a week full of sunshine.
Environment Canada issuing a rainfall warning for most of the southern portion of theĀ province, as a low pressure system tracks across New Brunswick today.
St. Stephen, Grand Manan, coastal Charlotte County, Saint John, Sussex, and the Fredericton area are expecting about 35 mms of rain before the storm tapers off overnight tonight.
In response to that much rain, a warning from the Department of Public Safety.
Communications Officer, Paul Bradley says to be on alert tonight if you work of live near a waterway, or in a flood prone area.
He says the ground is already saturated, and won’t be able to absorb very much rain.
You can help protect your home by keeping drainage systems clear of debris, and be cautious when driving as there could be areas with minor flooding.
