If you need to fill up in New Brunswick, you should find a gas station before midnight.
Senior petroleum analyst Dan McTeague with Gasbuddy.com says an annual rite of spring is behind the increase.
“I mentioned last week that we are going through the transition from winter to summer-blend fuel and that has a price… so we’re looking at a 3 cent per litre increase on the gasoline side,” he notes.
McTeague says diesel prices are in a rally on the markets and he expects diesel will rise by 2 cents per litre overnight.
