RCMP say security is in place at some schools in the Anglophone East School District today.
This comes following an unspecified threat at the district office yesterday.
Staff Sargeant Eric Larose says police are continuing to investigate but for safety reasons they can’t give details about what kind of security is in place.
District schools were placed in lockdown and later in a “hold and secure” mode after the threat was received yesterday.
No one was hurt and no incidents were reported.
