The resignation of Referee In Chief Jason Porter has prompted the Board of the Charlotte County Minor Hockey Association to release a statement on bad behavior by fans at a Bantam `C` provincial tournament in Saint Andrews.
The Board members say they don’t condone the poor behaviour of parents in Charlotte County or any other spectators which targeted the officials.
The Board is apologising to the officials involved, including a 15 year old linesman, but is not saying what’s going to happen in the future when fans get out of hand.
