A familiar name is running for Common Council in Ward 1……Former Mayor and longtime common councillor before that, Ivan Court.
One concern of his is the state of the roads after the current Common Council made them a priority and spent millions of dollars fixing them up.
Court also wants to take a closer look at the public-private partnership to build the water treatment plant on the east side. Court says he would be disturbed if Saint John water can be sold and he welcomes word from the province that cities may get more authority to run their own affairs.
