The signs are up and the campaigning is underway for the upcoming municipal elections.
Today is the first day voters will be able to cast a ballot at the returning offices in Metro Moncton.
Spokesperson for Elections NB Paul Harpelle says, “People who find it more convenient can drop in at the returning office and cast their vote, but that doesn’t officially happen until April 18th, that’s when all of the ballots will be printed and ready. They’re open six days a week from Monday to Saturday.”
Voters should starts receiving voter information cards in the mail next week.
Advanced polling days are April 30 and May 2, 2016.
