There are no recalls involved, but there are safety concerns from the federal government with certain vehicles from Fiat Chrysler Canada and officials want your feedback.
Transport Canada has received over 100 consumer complaints involving a failure of a power steering hose.
The department’s safety concerns involved the loss of power steering, along with the potential for a vehicle fire.
The Vehicles affected are:
2009-2016 Dodge Journey;
2011-2013 Chrysler 200;
2007-2010 Chrysler Sebring; and
2007-2013 Dodge Avenger.
After reviewing feedback from Canadians on the affected vehicles models, the Minister of Transport will make a final decision on whether the automaker has to issue a safety notice to owners of these vehicles.
