Saint John is now home to New Brunswick’s newest beach, Long Beach.
The Fundy Trail is welcoming the public to check out its extended parkway next month.
General Manager Nancy Lockerbie says the beach is expected to become a favourite spot on the Bay of Fundy with a beach that extends 500 meters at low tide.
The 2.5 km beach has a shoreline with a variety of interesting rocks, ideal for exploring, a picnic and shelters available to allow you to stay for the entire day.
It’s open to the public on May 20th.
