Five people suffered injuries after a four vehicle crash near Miramichi.
RCMP say the crash happened at around 5:30 yesterday afternoon on Highway 11.
Police says it appears as though two vehicles collided head on, and two others were unable to avoid the initial crash.
Two men and two women, along with a 5 year old boy were taken to hospital. One man remains in critical condition, while the two women and the boy suffered serious injuries.
The other man was treated and released.
