Starting tomorrow, Joe Roberts, who was homeless when he was younger, will push a shopping cart across Canada to raise awareness and money to prevent and support the end of youth homelessness.
Roberts says he lived on the streets of Vancouver in 1989 and wants to help give others a second chance.
He says the purpose is to have a conversation with Canadians about what we need to do, to build infrastructure to prevent and reduce and end youth homelessness.
The national trek will begin May 1st from St John’s Newfoundland and end on or around September 30, 2017 in Vancouver, BC.
