Common Councillor Ray Strowbridge, who’s seeking re-election in Ward 4, is pushing for a splash pad to be part of the recreation complex that will be built at Exhibition Park.
He estimates the cost at half a million dollars and has already discussed with Saint John-Rothesay M-P Wayne Long the possibility of federal funding.
Strowbridgealso takes issue with criticism voiced during the election campaign that Saint John is not open for business. He says during his four years on Common Council it has been build, build, build.
