It’s a part of Spring in Saint John–Celebrating the recipients of the Red Triangle Awards at the Y.
John Irving is the 2016 Red Triangle Award recipient.
Irving is the President of Ocean Capital Investments Limited, the parent company of Country 94 and The Wave, and he told us back in January that he was surprised by the honour adding the Y should be commended for their work in the community.
The Saint John Y describes him as passionate about Saint John saying he quietly supports numerous initiatives that make a difference in the lives of many people.

Craig Bell Estabrooks of Port Saint John is the 2016 Leader to Watch.
He volunteers with the Crescent Valley Resource Centre telling us it’s the collective brain power from volunteers that makes things happen.
Both Irving and Estabrooks will be celebrated tonight at the New Y on Churchill Boulevard.
