With the opening of the local ball fields, come complaints about illegal parking and the consumption of open liquor, especially at the Allison Grounds sport fields.
City Police are cracking down with the warning there will be zero tolerance at all City ball fields for parking illegally by posted signs or for violating the Liquor Control Act with a fine of 172 dollars and 50 cents.
Police say they’ll be checking the ball fields periodically and no warnings will be given.
