Premier Brian Gallant has taken part in the grand opening expansion of the Moncton-based IT firm Missing Link Technologies.
The event was planned during the province’s second annual innovation week which runs until Sunday.
Gallant believes innovation is key to the future of New Brunswick.
“We need to innovate if we want to ensure a strong economy. Innovation is not just about emerging industries like cybersecurity which is important but it is also about traditional industries,” says Gallant.
Missing Link Technologies plans to double its workforce to 80 employees over the next three years.
The company provides customized solutions and develops innovative products for companies in the IT sector.
