An investigation by police in Saint John is underway after the discovery of what are believed to be human remains on the east side.
Members of the SJPD are on the scene in a wooded area off of the old Black River Road. The investigation is being conducted by members of Major Crime, Forensic Indentification units and support personnel.
Forensic testing will be done to try and identify the remains. Sgt. Lori Magee says the investigation is still in the ealy stages and that updates will come as soon as more information is available.
