After a few weeks of increases for gas prices in New Brunswick, drivers can expect some relief this week.
Senior petroleum analyst Dan McTeague with Gasbuddy.com says a drop is on the way overnight.
“Looking at a 2 cent decrease for gasoline. You might get a penny or half-a-penny here or there depending on how the retailer works. But the (Energy and Utilities) Board will approve a 2 cent a litre decrease,” he notes.
Diesel prices on the other hand will likely increase by about 2 cents overnight according to McTeague.
