A train derailment is under investigation by the RCMP and CN Police.
The incident occurred in Sisson Ridge, near Plaster Rock.
Around 10:45 on Monday morning, police received a report that a westbound CN train had gone of the track near the Sisson Ridge crossing.
Eight rail cars went off the track, but remained upright and intact.
There were no injuries.
Following the investigation, it was determined the act was deliberate and anyone with information is asked to contact the RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
