Senior care could be where the jobs are.
The President and Chief Operating Officer of Shannex, Jason Shannon says his company will be hiring over a hundred people over the next couple of months with Shannex becoming part of the province’s plan on aging to move patients out of hospitals where they don’t have to be.
Shannon says Shannex is getting calls from nurses and health care professionals who are now in other parts of the country and want to come home.
Most of the new hires will be in Saint John.
