Saint John Police are warning the public of two different scams making the rounds.
One of the scams involves someone claiming to be a bank investigator asking for help with an investigation.
Police would like to remind everyone that neither your bank or police will ever ask that you help with an undercover investigation, or ask you to withdraw money from your account.
The other scam involves an opportunity to become a “mystery shopper”, which eventually leads to being given a counterfeit cheque and being asked to send a money transfer.
