If you’re into model railroads then you’ll want to make your way to the L-B-R this weekend for Port City Rails 2016.
Model railroaders from the Maritimes and New England are in town for the four day convention and show now underway.
Convention Chair Steve McMullen says you’ll see some very sophisticated railway layouts. There’s one from Boston complete with electronics and nother layout will wind its way through marshes, reeds and sand dunes along Narragansett Bay in Rhode Island.
The highlight is the public model train show, the largest of its kind in the Maritimes this year, from 9 until 3 on Saturday.
There will also be clinics on how you plan a model layout and building structures. Dealers will also be on hand.
