Corporate Research Associates has released a new poll showing Saint Johnners appear to be more confident about the economy than they did just a few months before.
Consumer confidence rose from 81.3 to 95.5 per cent this quarter.
68% of those people surveyed were also satisfied with the performance of Common Council led by Mayor Mel Norton. That’s upĀ from 54 per cent in the last quarter.
Norton announced early in the new year he would not be running for re-election as mayor, opting instead to seek the leadership of the provincial Conservative party..
