Corporal Christopher Webster from 5th Canadian Division Support Group Signal Squadron has been identifed as the soldier who collapsed during a unit run on the Hazen Park running trail outside Base Gagetown on May 24th.
The Department of National Defense says CPR was administered immediately at the scene and Corporal Webster was transported to Oromocto Public Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
He joined the Canadian Armed Forces in 2009 as a Regular Force member. He was serving as an Army Communications and Information Systems Specialist
