Tying the knot in the Bahamas, would be a dream come true for Daniel Cormier and Maryse Bourgeois of Greater Moncton, but they need your votes, to make that happen.
The couple entered a contest called Bahamas 16 Weddings Invitation. It is being put on by the Bahamas Ministry of Tourism, in an effort to attract more people to their region.
Maryse says after seeing an ad on TV, their mind was made up, as to where they wanted to get married, “We applied thinking we had nothing to lose. We didn’t know how many people applied from across Canada, but we really want to get married in the Bahamas.”
The couple are the only New Brunswickers left in the competition.
In order to make it to the finals, they need a lot of votes. The winning couples will be married on November 16th, 2016, at the 16th hour in the 16 Islands.
You can help by voting every day until June 10th.
