An information meeting takes place tomorrow night for those who are interested in entering a team for this year’s The Dragon Boat Festival. It will take place August 27th at the Renforth Wharf to raise money for St. Joseph’s Hospital.
Special Events Co-ordinator Jill Logan is hoping more than 200 thousand dollars will be raised to buy more than 50 medically needed items for every department in the hospital.
Logan says as many as 48 teams can be accomodated and each team will be guaranteed three races.
The meeting tomorrow will start at 5:30 in the Hospital Garden at St. Joe’s.
