An RCMP helicopter is part of the search effort to find a missing man in the Acadian peninsula.
Mounties say 61-year-old Richard Mallett, from the Lameque area, was last seen leaving his home Wednesday afternoon driving his yellow Jeep Wrangler.
Police describe Mallet as White, about 5 foot 4 inches tall, weighing about 150 pounds with blue eyes and a bald head.
His 2007 yellow Jeep Wrangler has a New Brunswick licence plate JJA 665.
He may have been wearing jeans, a hat and dark blue jacket.
