The Saint John Alpines announced the addition of Ryan Owens, an import player.
Owens comes to the Alpines after playing four years at Mount St Mary’s University, a division 1 school in Maryland.
The Burke, Virginia native hit leadoff for the Mountaineers, where he hit .294 this season and played outfield.
He led the team in hits, runs, doubles, stolen bases and batting average.
Each team in the NB Senior League is allowed to sign one import player, which is a non resident of New Brunswick.
