Premier Brian Gallant’s popularity has risen nine percentage points from three months ago.
That’s according to a survey from Corporate Research Associates which shows Gallant’s support currently sitting at 39-percent. By comparison, support for interim PC leader Bruce Fitch is at 14-percent, Green Party leader David Coon has 11-percent, NDP leader Dominic Cardy has 7-percent and People’s Alliance leader Kris Austin has 4-percent.
The survey results also show that support for the New Brunswick Liberals has rebounded. Just over half of decided voters in the province support the provincial Liberal party at 52-percent compared to 45-percent back in February. That’s far ahead of the PC party which is at 25-percent while the NDP is at 12, the Greens at 9, and the People’s Alliance at 2.
Satisfaction with the provincial government is up to 49-percent as compared to 43-percent three months ago.
