Volunteers will be giving up a few hours tomorrow to clean up trails near the Musquash Estuary.
Paula Noel of the Nature Conservancy of Canada tells us they’ll be cleaning up garbage and debris, building a boardwalk and trimming trees at Five Fathom Hole and Black Beach.
She says this is an area where they invite people to come and hike and enjoy the views over the estuary and the forest but like any trail it does require a little maintenance from time to time.
The Nature Conservancy is also celebrating the 10th anniversary of the designation of the Musquash Estuary as a marine protected area.
A special event is coming up on July 15th and 16th with guided hikes and more to celebrate the anniversary.
