Doctors from Moncton Hospital’s Oncology Clinic will ride for five days, in support of something close to them.
They’re taking part in the New Brunswick Doctors Cycling Against Cancer event.
Moncton Centre MLA Chris Collins was there this morning to help send them off and he is riding the first 100 kilometres with them, “It’s their second year doing it. They’ll be cycling today for 100 kilometres, and for the next 5 days, 100 kilometres each day, up to Miramichi, across to Fredericton, to Saint John and then back to Moncton.”
Last year the event raised $42, 000.
