Balancing the budget and getting rid of the interest payments on debt will move the province forward.
That from Premier Brian Gallant who says the province pays over 600 million dollars a year towards interest payments on our debt.
He says when we are paying that much on interest it’s hindering our ability to invest in things that will advance uur education system and give our children the best possible education.
Gallant says growing our population is important to improving the economy because of our aging demographic.
He says New Brunswickers have made it very clear that the focus should be on job creation, education and healthcare.
