Saint John Police are still looking into two robberies taking place a few hours apart on Friday.
Lori Magee says the west side Bayview Credit Union was robbed just after 4pm.
The culprits are two men believed to be in their 20s who were armed and masked when they robbed the bank.
One man is described as white and could be in his 20s. He was wearing a light colored hoodie, ball cap, sunglasses and carrying a bag.
His face was partly covered when he pulled out a gun.
The second man is described as white and also maybe in his 20s. He was wearing a dark colored hoodie and dark pants and appears to be wearing a balaclava.
He appears thinner and taller than the first man.
Both men were carrying two black metal cash trays.
Just after 9pm, the Dollarama store in the north end was also robbed.
Police says the man they think is responsible in that case had a gun and was hiding in the store until after it closed.
He’s described as roughly 5’9, possibly late 40s with short light hair. He was wearing a ball cap and blue hoodie with dark jeans during the robbery.
Officers were also called to a home last night on City Road after a break and enter where a laptop, medication and two swords were reported stolen.
Police also got a call to respond to Highland Road early this morning for another break and enter where someone woke up to the sound of a person in their home.
Two young men, who are 16 and 18 years old, were arrested soon after.
