New Brunswickers saw the highest percentage increase year over year for average weekly earnings of non-farmer jobs.
That’s according to a Statistics Canada report which shows earnings in New Brunswick rose 3% to $879.
That growth was primarily led by increases in health care, social assistance, and administrative and support services.
Despite that strong growth, New Brunswick remains below the Canadian average of $958.
Stats Can also measured the non-farm job creation since June of 2015, saying over 12 months, 7,700 jobs were added in New Brunswick.
That’s fourth behind Ontario, Quebec, and British Columbia.
