A woman who could be the most famous Saint Johner in history will be remembered today.
Elsie Wayne who served as mayor of the City she called “the greatest little city in the east” and went on to serve as MP passed away earlier this week at the age of 84.
Her funeral is coming up at 11am at Rivercross Church on Forbes Drive in the North end.
Forbes Drive is off Millidge Avenue.
The church will also be offering a livestream of the service.
Earlier this morning, the parking lot already had a few cars in it.
