As the tree trimming program from NB Power continues around the province, homeowners should keep an eye out for issues on their own property.
Spokesperson Meghan Gerrish says they generally have planned tree trimming, but customers can make requests to the utility directly.
She says NB Power will come out and assess the site.
Gerrish says it’s better to call and have it investigated just in cause it needs to be dealt with.
She adds it’s imperative customers don’t do the tree trimming themselves near power lines, because there’s a very real risk of death or injury.
