If you ever wanted to meet Ron MacLean, here’s your chance.
Saint John is a stop on the Rogers Hometown Hockey tour on October 22nd and 23rd at Long Wharf.
Co-chair Aaron Kennedy says it all came about because the folks at Discover Saint John reached out to Rogers saying if you are looking for a place to visit in New Brunswick we’re open for business.
He says you will be able to see the large travelling stage set up on Long Wharf as you head across the Harbour Bridge.
It’s a free event so anyone can come down on Saturday and Sunday and see live musical acts. The live pre-game show begins at 830pm on Sunday night live across the country on Sportsnet.
Kennedy says this area offers all kinds of great stories to tell including the story of Randy Jones who was in the NHL and now coaches the midget Vito’s in a rink on a street that is named after him.
