A major financial boost for Mount Allison University in Sackville for a new research facility.
The provincial and federal governments, as well as the Mount Allison are making a total investment of $13.5 million.
It will be used to renovate the Gairdner and Barclay buildings, to create a new centre that will encourage a focus on environmental science. The buildings will also be made more energy efficient..
Vice Chancellor Robert Campbell says This new centre for environmental innovation will have a significant positive impact for the faculty and students researchers.
