Bobby Hayes and Paul Curwin of the Joshua Group have made it as far as Salisbury on their walk from Saint John to Moncton to raise money to buy a new bus.
He’s not sure about how much money has been raised so far but has heard there have been some generous donations. A woman in Hampton has donated 500 dollars and the workers at the Sitel call centre at Loch Lomand Mall in Saint John have raised a thousand dollars.
Donations can be called in to 645-9664.
Hayes, who says his shoes are toast, is hoping to reach Moncton by noonhour tomorrow. If you want to donate, call 645-9664.
