It was physically gruelling but Bobby Hayes and Paul Curwin of the Joshua Group completed their walk from Saint John to Moncton. They did so to raise money for a new bus. Hayes says he would do it all over again for the kids he helps.
He says it’s heartbreaking to hear children tell you there’s no food in the house and they have to move because there’s no money to pay the rent. He calls the bus a lifeline for young people who have nothing and are looking desperately for someone to help.
Hayes doesn’t know at this point how much money has been raised but he has heard there have been lots of phone calls to 645-9664.
