A 16-year-old has been arrested and charged after Fredericton police seized $178,000 worth of drugs, $3600 cash and firearms at a north side building.
The drugs seized were 986 grams of methamphetamine and 889 grams of cocaine. Of the two firearms seized one ws loaded.
Police say on Thursday the Fredericton fire department and provincial electrical inspector were doing a safety check at a multi-residential complex and came across what they refer to as a “fortified building.”
The Fredericton police eventually obtained a search warrant for the property.
The teenager cannot be identified.
