Moosehead has confirmed all the social media buzz by announcing its new small batch brewery for craft beer will be built on Water Street at the foot of Princess on port property adjacent to Pugsley Slip. A lease agreement with the port will be formally signed later this year.
The brewery will be 10 thousand square feet with an open concept design for tours, a tap room and retail space.
Construction is expected to begin early next year and the brewery, to be designed by a Halifax architectural firm, will be opening up later in 2017.
