Replacing the roof at Harbour Station will cost an estimated $3.7 million. That word delivered to Common Council with the warning that the roof is nearing the end of its 25 year lifespan. It will cost over 52 hundred dollars for an inspection and short term repairs to extend its use.
The netting used at both ends of the ice at Harbour Station during hockey games will have to be replaced because it no longer is up to the standards of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League. The replacement cost exceeds $73 hundred.
Last season, a fan was injured after being struck by a puck and sued.
